We were created in 2008, the same year the adorable Charlotte Kennedy was born; the inspiration behind the name of CK Interstate. Gary Kennedy is Charlotte’s proud father as well as the owner. If you are a little daunted by the idea of packing up all your belongings or unpacking them we can assist you with our professional packing service.

Our ladies are highly trained and experienced to ensure all of your belongings are safely packed, organised and labelled ready for when our moving trucks arrive. You can choose how much assistance you need with your packing – our ladies can focus on the breakables only, or a specific area of the house, or take care of packing all items for you.

The ladies from The Finishing Touch can also help you settle into your new home quickly and efficiently with our unpacking service. They can unpack all of your belongings and put everything away for you where you want it. They will organise the kitchen, make beds, set up the kids’ rooms, organise living and dining areas, put away books, DVD’s toys and everything else.

They will expertly make your new house into a home in just one day, get you settled quickly and happily and even provide fresh flowers with our compliments as the final finishing touch.

We can either provide a Full Unpack, where we unpack all your cartons and set up your entire home, or an Assist Unpack, to help you unpack your belongings for a fixed time/cost to unpack high priority or designated areas of your new home. Our friendly team can work alongside you to get all of your belongings away efficiently. Or if you don’t want to be present or prefer minimal involvement, we can work to a detailed plan on where to place your things.

CK Interstate in partnership with Hire A Box provides storage boxes and moving boxes on a hire or purchase basis. Our boxes are durable and easy to assemble.

For lighter, bulkier items – pots, pans, clothes, toys, linen, cushions, shoes etc. Filling large boxes with heavy items will make them awkward to move and carry.

Portable Wardrobe, or “porta-robe”, is the “Best thing since sliced bread!” A great way to move your hanging clothes and protect them during transport. The Porta-Robe is a cost effective solution for transporting clothes.
